12V ventilation: the clean and odourless solution!

A specially developed small high-performance fan, which switches on automatically when the toilet lid is opened, creates negative pressure in the waste tank:

This creates a "suction" at the opening of the slide, which draws in fresh air and also any odours produced during use and directs them to the outside. The air suction acts as a seal and prevents 100% of all unpleasant gases from leaving the tank. This means that more air (oxygen) is sucked into the cassette every time it is used. Water is also supplied each time through the flushing process. However, after the slide is switched off and closed automatically, there is a permanent ventilation - i.e. oxygen supply - via a tube or hose connection that is always open to the outside, which supports the subsequent decomposition process.

The SOG® system is ventilated through the roof using a special duct in the roof. The parts we supply are adapted to the waste water pipe system, which can be purchased from specialist camping dealers.

SOG II SOIL VARIANT
The SOGII compact unit offers a variety of options for ventilating the toilet. The unit consists of a replaceable filter cartridge into which the fan is inserted. The fan is barely audible because it is mounted on the filter gasket.

The SOGII offers the advantage that the filter cartridge can be placed in a wide variety of places in the camping vehicle and can be ventilated at any point above the floor (e.g. in the garage, under the seat, in the false floor or in the storage compartment).

Since the filter unit is placed inside the vehicle, there is no need to modify the exterior of the vehicle as it does not need to match the exterior design.

The specific technical design of the filter housing in relation to flow technology, as well as the resulting enormous filter surface and the composition of the activated carbon, act so effectively that the odour-laden air extracted is completely neutralised.

The SOG®II floor version is therefore recommended without hesitation for caravans where the toilet service flap opens directly on the awning. Emptying the cassette is just as easy as before: the exhaust hose is pulled out and the now open connection piece is closed with the matching closure supplied.
