Booster Victron Energy Orin-Tr Smart Non-Isolated DC_DC Charger 12/12-30AH
The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is a professional DC-to-DC, adaptive 3-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth.
For use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats where the alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and can be controlled remotely using a remote on/off switch. The Orion-Tr Smart charger can be used on 12 or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Models up to 400W are available and an unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel to increase power output.
Designed to operate at high temperatures up to 55ºC, with full rated power output up to 40ºC.
Bluetooth Smart enabled
• Any smartphone, tablet or other type of device with Bluetooth can be used to
Monitor, change settings and update the charger when new software features are available
available.
• Instant Readout: The VictronConnect application can display the most
important, including notices and alarms, on the device list page without the need to
connect to the product.
Completely programmable
• Battery charging algorithm (configurable) or fixed output.
• Intelligent alternator compatibility: engine running detection mechanism.
3-stage adaptive charging algorithm: initial charge – absorption – float
• In the case of lead-acid batteries, it is important that, if the discharges are slight, the discharge time
absorption is short to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the
Absorption charging time automatically increases to ensure a complete recharge of
Battery.
• In the case of lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed: 2 hours by default.
• Alternatively, you can choose a fixed output voltage.
Remote On/Off
A remote On/Off switch can be connected to a two-phase connector.
Alternatively, the H (right) terminal of the two-phase connector can be changed to the positive of the
battery, or the L (left) terminal of the two-phase connector can be switched to battery negative (or
vehicle chassis, for example).
All models are short circuit proof and can be connected in parallel for
increase the output current.
An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel.
Protection against high temperatures:
The output current will be reduced when the ambient temperature is high.
IP43 protection
If installed with the screw terminals facing downwards.
