MITORTUGA.ES LIKES THE OPINION OF FERNANDO, 14 YEARS OLD

This is the writing  made by our friend Fernando from Marbella, a real motorhome driver only 14 years old, at mitortuga.es we thought it would be interesting to share it  with all of you, congratulations Fernando. First of all, good morning everyone. I am going to talk to you about something that I think is totally unknown to most of you. I hope you like it or, at least that you find it interesting. It is a way of doing tourism that is spreading more and more throughout our country; although in the rest of Europe they practice it quite naturally, since they have been doing it for many years and there are more than three times as many as we do. I suppose that you have all seen a motorhome at some point, at least from afar. Have you ever considered what it would be like to travel in a motorhome???? It's the most fun in the world. In my family we have been doing it for years and I assure you that it is amazing. Keep in mind that they are small houses on wheels that allow you to enjoy all the comforts of a home while you are traveling. My motorhome has a double bed, two bunk beds, a full bathroom, kitchen, fridge, living room and, of course, hot and cold water, heating and air conditioning. We also have TV, Play Satation, games and everything we can think of to have a good time. You have absolute freedom, you don't need hotel reservations or anything else and it allows you to improvise at all times. Many times, when we travel, we have seen places that we had not thought were so beautiful and we have decided to stay a whole day, visit it and continue the trip the next day. It has also happened to us the other way around, places that have been recommended to us and that we had planned to spend a couple of days, but when we saw them, we did not like them or the weather was very bad, and we have continued the trip reserving those days for any other site . We could never have done that if we had not gone with the motorhome. When we are on the road, while my father is driving, we can watch TV, play, eat or even sleep or go to the toilet, since all the functions of the motorhome are operational even when it is driving. Thanks to its comforts, we have been able to make great trips. We have already been with her in a lot of countries: Portugal, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Morocco and, well, I don't know if I forgot any... One of the important differences of this type of trip is that when you go to some country, the visits are not only for the most touristic and emblematic places, but we can go deep into the country, see corners that, if we did not go this way, it would be impossible to see. I am going to try to explain this to you: when I talk to friends who, for example, tell me that they have been to France. What most people have done is catch a plane that has left them in Paris, they have seen the city, its surroundings, Disneyland and little else. And, with this trip, they think they already know the country, its corners, food, its people, etc. I assure you not. It is like coming from another country to Spain, visiting Madrid and believing that they know Spain. Is Madrid the same as the Costa del Sol or Asturias??? When we have gone to France, we have also visited Paris and, of course, Disneyland, since for both my sister and me it is the most important part of the trip. But the thing has not stopped there. We have traveled the whole country having the opportunity to visit the Castles of the Loire river, Normandy, La Alsace, etc. Sites and corners that with any other way of traveling we would not have been able to see so comfortably and in such a short time. Well, that happens to us in all the countries where we go. Another important thing is the weekends. Every two or three weekends we go with the motorhome to visit places and we break the monotony of being at home. They are very fun trips that we usually do with friends and we have a great time. In winter to rural towns, the countryside or the Sierra Nevada and in summer to coastal sites, such as Tarifa, etc. Well, I hope I haven't bored you too much and I take this opportunity to invite you to try this way of traveling.
