In the last five years the number of registrations has increased by 347%. More and more people are deciding on the 'caravaning' sector. In 2018 the average consumer spending was 43,294 euros. According to the report carried out by the Spanish Association of the Caravaning Industry and Commerce (ASEICAR), the sector is also growing in number of employees, until reaching 1,787 in 2017. The president of the association, José Manuel Jurado, assures that the average profile of the caravan consumer is usually middle-aged people and families with children.
